Holiday Badge Work

The winter break is a great time to work on some badges.  Many can be incorporated into family outings or holiday activities.  Here are some of our ideas:

• Are you planning on sending out cards or presents to family and friends?  You could earn the Postal Interest Badge (page 225).
• If you plan on hitting the slopes or the trails you could earn your Skiing/Snowboarding Interest Badge (page 125).
• For those that would rather slide on ice there is the Skating Interest Badge (page 122).
• Maybe you prefer to stay inside in the warmth?  Cozy up with a book and earn your Reading Interest Badge (page 227).
• Many of us will be filling ourselves with sweets.  Treat your family and earn your Tasty Treats Interest Badge (page 204).

Or you can choose from any of the other 80 badges available in your Guide Program Book.

We have already given you a head start on your Science Interest Badge (page 260) by completing activity number six.

This is also a good time for our second and third years to make a decision on whether or not to work towards their Lady Baden Powell Award.  More information can be found by following the link at the top of the page.
